Share your passion for endocrinology at SfE BES 2023
Are you attending SfE BES 2023? Why not take this opportunity to share your passion for science and medicine to inspire schoolchildren at our schools outreach event on Wednesday 15 November?
Small groups from four local secondary schools will be invited to attend from 12:00 -15:00 on the conference's final day to learn more about the fascinating world of hormones and the experts making waves in our field. This year we have two opportunities where you can inspire the future generation of scientists:
Design and deliver an activity for the schools outreach event at SfE BES
The Public Engagement Committee are seeking members to get creative and develop an interactive activity for school children which you will deliver at our exciting schools outreach event at SfE BES!
We are looking for:
- Activities that are 20 minutes in length
- Are endocrine-themed
- Suitable for KS4 students (age 15-16)

If you have ideas for interactive and exciting activities to help engage school children with our discipline, we'd love to hear them. Even if you can’t attend the conference we’re still looking for activities to borrow, so do get in touch!
Volunteer at the schools outreach event at SfE BES
Volunteers will meet students at local schools, help deliver interactive tabletop activities with fellow members, and participate in career Q & As. You will be joined by fellow members and supported by the Society team.
