Dr Vivek Dhir, Associate Professor Molecular Endocrinology, College of Medical and Dental Sciences, University of Birmingham

Vivek Dhir qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Genetics and a MRes in Biological Sciences from the University of Manchester. He went on to study for a PhD in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology at Imperial College, University of London.

He is now an Associate Professor in Molecular Endocrinology in the Institute of Clinical Sciences (University of Birmingham) and has a long-standing affiliation with the Institute of Metabolism and Systems research (IMSR; University of Birmingham). 

He has previously held the role of Head of Education for IMSR and is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He has an interest and passion for designing of curriculum and assessment that is authentic. At present, Dr Dhir runs and delivers Endocrine related Modules to undergraduate Medical, Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences students.
