Aspiring Research Leaders

The Aspiring Research Leaders training event has been established to support early career researchers to develop their careers whether as a postdoc, a fellow or a new investigator.

The programme has been designed with advice from early career researchers on what they want and need to help them to progress, and includes advice on how and where to apply for funding, how to demonstrate independence, and manage a research group.

Those that attend will be offered feedback on funding ideas, and will be encouraged to form a group providing opportunities for long term networking and mutual support.
