Governance

Each of the Society’s Real World Data Registries are governed by multidisciplinary Steering Committees which are chaired by a member of the Society.

They are made up of invited experts within the clinical pathway of the register, this will include other specialities outside of endocrinology, patient support groups, and other health care professionals such as pharmacists or nurses.

There is a remit for the Steering Committees which clearly sets out the aims and responsibilities of those involved. One of the responsibilities of the Steering Committee is managing the Data Access Requests for their register; for more information on this, please see below.
