FAQs

Real-world data registries are powerful tools that collect and analyse data from patients in everyday clinical settings. Unlike clinical trials, which operate under controlled conditions, real-world data registries capture patient-reported outcomes, clinical histories, and treatment responses as they occur in real life.

This provides a more comprehensive picture of how treatments work across diverse patient populations.

The data will be collected in the PeopleWith platform. PeopleWith is the digital health technology partner, working in collaboration with the Society for Endocrinology, supplying a patient/study participant facing mobile application and site-specific clinical web interface for the capture, consolidation and management of data.

All data captured within the PeopleWith platform is timestamped and stored securely against the unique identifier of the data creator (patient/study participant or healthcare professional).

PeopleWith implement strict data access policies with access recorded and logs retained for the lifetime of the study.

You can contribute by enrolling your site and encouraging your patients to join the registry. Simply head to the registry you are interested in, complete the expression of interest form, and the Society team will support you through the onboarding process.

Participating in a registry gives you access to a vast dataset of real-world patient outcomes, allowing you to make data-driven clinical decisions.

It also supports personalised treatment planning, enabling you to provide more tailored care to your patients, improving their outcomes and overall satisfaction.

The registry provides a comprehensive picture of how treatments work across diverse patient groups. This information helps you tailor treatments more effectively, track patient progress, and predict outcomes, leading to better overall patient care.

Patient-reported outcomes offer valuable insights into how patients are responding to treatments in their daily lives.

This data helps you track their progress between appointments, fine-tune their treatment plans, and engage patients in discussions about their health.
